Are bassinets with incline safe?
Raising the head of a baby’s crib is not an effective way to reduce GER. It’s not safe because it increases the risk of the baby rolling to the foot of the bed or into a position that could cause fatal breathing problems.

SIDS deaths happen in babies between 1 and 4 months of age. Babies may have a higher risk of SIDS if their mother smoked, drank, or used drugs while pregnant.
